A lovely medallion with an incredibly green ground outlined in red and light blue situated in the center of a saturated indigo blue field. The clouds seen throughout the field are an unusual design feature. Probably dating to the latter part of the 19th century, the relatively coarse knotting and the incredible colors of the central medallion suggest an older aesthetic. The three-dimensional treatment of the meandering 'T' border, though, and the manner in which it is drawn possibly indicate a fourth quarter of the 19th-century date.
